PIKN Wireline Grab

Application

PIKN wireline grab externally engages and retrieves electric wirelines during fishing in a wellbore.

Design

Rugged design of the grab allows for recovery of wireline from the wellbore.

Barbs arranged along prongs and descending in size ensure engagement of tightly tangled wireline. Increased number of barbs allows for higher loads during retrieval. The bottom end of the prongs is tapered to enter tightly tangled wireline.

The grab has ports for circulation at the top sub.
