PML Mechanical Petaled Junk Basket

Application

PML Petaled Junk Basket retrieves rock bit cones and bearings, broken slips, bits of wire line, metal debris off the bottom in oil, gas and exploratory wells. After the junk basket has engaged the fish, combined rotating and lowering will cause the long petals to closeunder the fish and retain it in the barrel.

Design

The junk basket is a cylindrical body with threaded connection at the top and petals at the bottom. Petals are about 3/4 of the pipe diameter. Top sub is connected to the junk basket via thread or welding.
