Application

Run on coiled tubing, TLV spear retrieves fish from a wellbore.

Design

The spear consists of a top sub, a body, a grapple and a spring. Grapple OD has buttress fishing thread. The top sub has thread to connect to the fishing string.
The body is connected to the sub with pipe thread. The tool body has no watercourse. The tool communicates with the annulus through a port in the top sub.
